My “Disclaimer”

I want to prevent some anticipated feedback.  So please keep these things in mind:

• “Budget” is relative.  Some people easily spend $300 on sunglasses, while other people allocate $300 for their annual clothing budget.
• You may be able to find these items elsewhere for less.  These are just some “budget-friendly” finds I have come across.  And I typically don’t link to clearance items because they sell out and then people are disappointed.  Also, I have no way of linking to thrift stores, but obviously, if you want to check out your local thrift stores, I think that is a great idea!
• Recycle & reuse.  As with all of my posts, I hope that you can use the pieces you already have in your wardrobe.  Additionally, I assume that you can reuse all of the pieces below in other combinations with things in your closet to create a variety of looks.  Meaning, I think it is unfair to judge the expense of one outfit as though that is the only way to wear the pieces.

Outfit Details

A plus size casual summer outfit on a budget.

Start with this super cute coral t-shirt dress.

Add a plus size sling bag.  The bag extends up to 60″.

Top the look with a straw baseball cap and finish it with white sneakers, which also come in wide width.

By the way, you might remember some of these accessories from this post.

Jewelry & Lipstick

For jewelry, add my favorite gold hoops in their smallest size.

I have these in all four sizes and love them!

Add a turquoise pendant necklace, which is 20″ long.

 And a set of delicate gold bracelets.

Lastly, add this gold ring to wear on your thumb or index finger.

As for lipstick, choose one that is a nice light coral color like “Peach Fuzz.”

Jewelry Care

These beauties are gold plated, so you might need to “baby” them for longevity.

Avoid the obvious: showers, pools, spraying your wrist with perfume while wearing them.

Store them in air-tight plastic bags, if possible.  This will keep the plating from damage and tarnishing.

Perfume

I included one of my favorite on-a-budget fragrances: Dossier’s “Floral Violet.”

This perfume is inspired by Marc Jacobs’ “Daisy.”

FYI, I had Dossier on my “to try” list for quite some time.

I ordered a bunch of their scents. And I love them! 

Someone asked me about their longevity.

In my opinion, they last as long as the fragrances they are inspired by.

Yasssss!  An amazing luxurious scent at a fraction of the price!
