If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know that I publish multiple outfit suggestions for Thanksgiving Day each year.
And I always include several options for those of you in warm(er) climates, called the “Southern Editions.”
But last year I combined the two ideas. I created variations of the same look: Warmest, Warmer, Warm, and the Southern Edition.
And based on responses to my Instagram stories, you want to see them again!
So essentially these are the same outfit ideas with minor details changed to accommodate whatever the weather and temperature might be in your region!
Take a look…
Based on my polling, you guys still want to see some Thanksgiving Day outfit ideas even though your plans might be different this year.
I also think these outfits would be great for Christmas Day as well.
Outfit Details
The first look is the warmest and meant for the coldest climate. A green wool sweater with a wool scarf and skinny jeans will keep you toasty.
Waterproof ankle booties will keep your feet warm while looking chic.
I kept the accessories pretty basic. A classic gold watch and halo stud earrings. Plus, a designer crossbody bag and oversized sunglasses.
Lastly, a bold red lip with a satin finish.

All subsequent looks are variations based on the “warmest.” So for the “warmer” look, I swapped out the sweater and jeans for a swing dress in the same emerald green color.
I kept everything else the same.
If you need to add tights, try these.

While I’m not sure this look is better for the warmest climates than the last, I wanted to offer some more options.
In this look, I opted for a green swing top with 3/4 sleeves. You can find a short sleeve version here.
And a denim pencil skirt with some stacked heel mules.

The Thanksgiving outfits are going to be perfect for this year! I especially like the red plaid hair scrunchie so festive! The necklace is a great piece to own as well!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your Thanksgiving outfits this year! I mean, you always do a great job ?. But this year the outfits really spoke to me. Thank you for your guidance as I’m fashionably challenged lol. You’re the BEST!
Aww, thank you, Tammy! That’s wonderful to hear!
I love ? these outfits. They are very pretty, festive but not over the top.

I’ll say it again….you are a bad influence! A very bad one :(. I just ordered the dark emerald green swing top and the dark wash denim pencil skirt. I was so drawn to that dark rich emerald green!!!!
Ohhh! I hope you love them! ❤
I was looking for the brand of the cheetah sneaker slip ones that were sold out.
Hi Patti,
There are not any sneakers in this post or the ones I show in the post. Are you talking about the grey ones from a couple of years ago?
