Little Luxuries
While “luxury” is a relative term, to me, these are little luxuries that moms will enjoy but might not get for themselves.
I love giving gifts that I know people won’t “treat” themselves to.
So these gift ideas are a mix of items that I have gifted to others, gifted to myself, or are on my wish list.

1- Plus Size Cashmere Zip Up Hoodie (No Zipper, Short Sleeve, Short Sleeve V-neck, less $ similar) & Plus Size Cashmere Jogger Pants (less $ similar) – Sizes XXS – 3X. Such a cute set for mom! Let her lounge in luxurious cashmere.
2- Stud Earrings (less $ similar, less $ similar)– If you want to pamper mom with some bougie jewelry, these amethyst David Yurman stud earrings are it!
3 – 100% Pure Mulberry Silk Sleep Mask or here – (less $ similar) For the “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” fan! Classic Hollywood glamour inspired, sleeping mask for better quality sleep! As I’ve mentioned before, silk is really great for mature women and those with thinning hair.
Because silk is so smooth and “slippery” this sleeping mask won’t snag delicate hair and skin, which can result in damage and breakage. Perfect for mom!
4 – Finishing Powder in “Luminous Light” (mini, less $ similar, less $ similar) – Although this is technically a finishing powder, I use the “luminous light” shade as a highlighter. It gives a beautiful and subtle glow. Yes, that “lit from within” look that I love.
The powder is finely milled and never chalky. It is a really great option if you want to look natural and/or have skin texture or lines and wrinkles. Makes it a great choice for mom!
It looks great on my pale skin but I also tried it on my friend who has an olive undertone and was extremely tan at the time. It also looked amazing on her! So much so that she went out and bought it for herself.
5 – Plus Size Cami Pajama – Sizes 1X – 4X. Nothing like a new jammy set.
6 – Flower Bouquet – Just beautiful! You can never go wrong with giving mom fresh flowers!
7 – Perfume or here – Rich and long-lasting with boldly delicious notes of pistachio, salted caramel, golden sandalwood, and warm vanilla that smell like summer. This Sol de Janeiro scent is one of my absolute favorites, especially for warm weather. Layer this over their Bum Bum Cream (#8) to smell amazing all day and night.

15 – Lactic Acid Exfoliating Serum, here or here – Want youthful, glowy, clearer skin with tighter pores? Enter Good Genes.
Good Genes is a chemical exfoliator that uses lactic acid, a type of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). Lactic acid is more gentle than the more common AHA, glycolic acid.
Plus, Good Genes is packed full of other ingredients that soothe and brighten.
My experience has been that it absolutely gets rid of layers dead skin, which prevents dry patches and poor makeup application.
But, more importantly, it helps prevent clogged pores. I have also noticed some brightening of my acne scars too.
This stuff is a work horse because it manages all of this with only a short period of “problems.”
If you haven’t used a chemical exfoliator or AHA before, you should expect to have a period of time in which you skin gets worse before it gets better. It may even seem like it is causing breakouts or irritation and you should stop. Don’t! You may have to cut back on the frequency of use, but unless you’re having an allergic reaction, chances are your skin is “purging.” Meaning all of the gunk trapped under the surface of all of those dead skin cells is now working it’s way out. So hang on, it gets much better.
You should see a noticeable difference overnight, especially if you haven’t been using an AHA. Your skin will be smoother and more radiant within 24 hours.
Over time, you’ll notice clearer and brighter skin with smaller pores, radiance you never knew you could have, and smooth and soft skin. I swear my fine lines are less noticeable as well. Plus, I almost never have ingrown chin hairs now.
You should always wear sunscreen, but especially when using an AHA. Because all of the dead skin is sloughed off, your skin has less protection from the sun. And more vulnerable skin is exposed. Protect your skin!

17 – Red Light Therapy Face Massager – Perfect for an at home self-care pampering! I recently purchased one of these for my neck. I’ll report back.
18 – Face Base Moisturizer & Primer with Vitamin C + Hyaluronic Acid or here– One of my favorite moisturizers, especially for under makeup.
19 – Sneakers – (Sizes 5 – 10) – I love a pop of color and these sneakers are so trendy and fun!
20 – Eyeshadow Sticks – Long-lasting, crease-proof, and easy to apply. I have several of these, but this duo includes my favorite shades. I use the pearl shade on my inner corner and the rose across my lid. When I am feeling fancy, I will top with something sparkly like this eyeshadow topper in “Space Cowboy.” I apply it with my finger. Easy peasy!
21 –Lip Gloss Stick in “Showcasing Nude” or here (less $ similar) – I finally tried these YSL’s Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Sticks.
And yes, they are awesome!
It looks like a lip gloss, but has more staying power without the “stickiness” that I hate in long-lasting glosses.
But most importantly, they are moisturizing. I mean like decadent moisture!
They are made with mango oil, vitamin E, pomegranate extract, and hyaluronic acid.
And they smell similar to the Rouge Volupté Shine, which is amazing!
Point is, I think I have a new favorite.
22 – Pressure Relief Seat Cushion – Designed for long sitting hours – perfect for work hours or even day to day activities like dining or crafting! Plus, it is sized for those with larger bodies.
23- Aviator Sunglasses – (less $ similar, less $ similar) Everybody can use a cool new pair of sunglasses for the summer! My mom got me these for Christmas. You can see them on me here.
24 – Plus Size Bralette – Sizes M – 6X. SO sexy, SO comfortable! Win win.
25 – Slide Sandals – Sizes 5 – 13. Cute, sturdy, and vacation-ready. Perfect to wear all summer! I recently purchased this color. I love them! They’re so comfortable and fit my wider-than-average feet.
26 – Weighted Knit Blanket or here – (less $ similar) In case you haven’t heard, weighted blankets increase serotonin and melatonin, which boosts your mood and helps you sleep. And they are thought to reduce cortisol, which is the “stress hormone.”
They come in different sizes and weights. It is recommended to choose one that is approximately 10% of your body weight.
This blanket is made with organic cotton and considered one of the best weighted blankets out there. I bought one and I am obsessed with it. I call it the “cocoon.” I find it calming and relaxing.
27 – Weighted Sleep Mask or here – (silk) A different take on the traditional sleeping mask. Great for side sleeping!

32 – Gold Cigar Ring or here – This is my favorite gold ring. I wear it on my index finger. So fab! Also, this ring is 18k gold vermeil.
33 – LED Light Therapy Mask or here – A medical-grade mask with a full spectrum of therapeutic red and blue light to improve fine lines, wrinkles, skin tone and acne. My favorite part is that Mom can multi-task her skincare and watch her favorite show or get some work done!
34 – Retinol Hand Cream – (less $ similar) For younger looking hands! *Remember to use sunscreen prior to sun exposure as it can increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn.
35 – Serum Stick or here – I have it and love it. Super hydrating, smooths fine lines, and it’s great for the eye area. Plus, the application is so easy. I literally just swipe it under my eyes!
