As you well know by now, I love a good blazer for spring!  In fact, you can find some recent posts with blazers here, here, and here.  See what I mean?  I am blazer-crazed!  But for good reason.  A blazer is a great way to turn any boring t-shirt and jeans combo into a chic look.  Just add trendy accessories and shoes.  And boom!  You are now ready for anything, from casual Friday at the office, to Sunday sidewalk brunches, to casual drinks with a date from Bumble.

I chose to feature this Daniel Rainn blazer because I really like the long length (32″), open front, and rolled-up sleeves.  It will hit below the hip near the top of the thigh.  Also, it has some stretch and is hand-washable.  So no need to head to the dry-cleaners!

The Accessories

Like I said, trendy accessories really complete this type of look.  So for this plus size black blazer outfit I chose trendy large resin hoop earrings.  I like these in particular because of the neutral colors and change-up from the typical tortoise ones we’ve been seeing.  A bucket bag, while classic, is a trend that is coming back around again.  Nordstrom makes a similar one with their in-house brand that is genuine leather and a fraction of the price.  Oversized sunnies are also on-trend.  If you’re on a budget, check out these similar oversized shades that could easily be mistaken for Celine frames.
