Plus Size Black Blazer Outfits

Outfit 1 Details

Both of these plus size outfit ideas feature this black double-breasted blazer with beautiful gold button details.

So classy and rich.  Oh la la!

For the first look, i paired the blazer with a black pleated skirt.

You might remember this pleated skirt from this post and a similar skirt in this post.

For the base layer, I chose an ivory sleeveless turtleneck sweater, but practically any neutral layering top will work.

But, the star of this look are the snake printed wide calf boots.

Wide Calf Boots

These snake wide calf boots will fit up to a calf circumference of 18″ depending on the shoe size.

Note: I believe the site has a mistake and they have accidentally switched the measurements of the shaft height and calf circumference.

I believe the following to be the calf circumference based on shoe size:  Size 7: 16.3″, 8: 16.7″, 9: 17.1″, 10: 17.5″, 11: 17.9″, 12: 18.3″, 13: 18.7″

Accessories

As for accessories, I topped the look with some oversized designer sunglasses.

But, I have and love these sunnies, which are quite similar for a fraction of the price.

For the bag, I went with a classic black bucket bag from Mulberry.

I love this bag as it is small and can be carried with a crossbody strap or the top handle.

But, if Mulberry is out of your budget, this bag is very similar.

Jewelry

For the jewelry, I decided to go trendy with some bold and sculptural gold.

Starting with these stunning gold teardrop drop earrings.

I found some similar ones from Amazon too!

As for this Ettika bracelet set, I purchased some similar ones from Amazon.

They easily fit my slightly-larger-than-average sized wrists.

Outfit 2 Details

This second outfit idea is much like the first, but I made a couple of changes.

I swapped the pleated skirt for some wide leg jeans.

And I opted for some low-heeled ankle booties in black.

These booties have a kitten heel, which is just over 2″ and are also available in wide width.  Yay!

They will elongate the legs with their pointed toe when paired with the wide leg jeans.  Double yay!

J.Crew Sizing

These wide leg trouser jeans are from J.Crew.

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.
