Two plus size black sequin sweater outfits for this fall.
You might recognize this sequin sweater from this post.
These outfits would be great for the holidays or a night out.

Outfit 1 Details
First, I picked this stunning black sequin sweater as the centerpiece.
I paired it with these plus size wide leg jeans, which you might recognize from this, this, this, this, this and this post.
As you tell, I love these jeans!
J.Crew Sizing
These wide leg trouser jeans are from J.Crew.
In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X.
Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant.
One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.
Accessories
Add a cute and on-trend silver clutch to keep the accessories monochromatic.
FYI, I have this clutch in metallic pink and LOVE it!
Throw on some kitten heeled ankle booties with a pointed toe to elongate the leg.
By the way, these booties also come in wide width!
Jewelry
Since the sequins are doing their thing, you can go with more “basic” accessories to tone things down a bit.
Start with the trendiest earrings of the year, these teardrop earrings by Bottega Veneta, which no one can afford. Lol.
So I found these similar earrings at a fraction of the cost.
I recommend the larger size for this ensemble, but the smaller ones work too.
As for the wrist, I added a silver cuff bracelet.
Lastly, I added my favorite dome ring in silver.
Beauty
Assuming you will wear a smoky eye or a thick black winged liner, I went with a pale nude lip.
This color “Pure Hollywood” is one of my favorite nudes to pair with a dramatic eye look.
It works well with my light-medium skin tone, so keep that in mind.
As for the perfume, Lancôme’s “La Vie Est Belle” Eau de Parfum has become a recent favorite.
I got it on deal during the last Prime Day event.
It’s a great scent for fall and winter with notes of Iris, Earthy Patchouli, Warm Vanilla & Spun Sugar.
It’s feminine but strong.
But, if it’s over your budget or you just want to try it “guilt free,” perhaps try Dossier’s “Gourmand Orange Blossom.”
As I have mentioned many times, I have tried several of Dossier’s scents and think they are fantastic for a fraction of the price.

Outfit 2 Details
For this second outfit, I switched the wide leg trouser jeans for some sexy plus size faux leather pants.
I love how the faux leather pants add an edge to the look and also make them more “event” appropriate.
You can get these full length or ankle length.
I kind of like the idea of ankle length to show off these amazing shoes!
Finish the look with a gunmetal clutch and bold crystal and black jewelry.
Oh and don’t forget a vampy red lip.

First, I just want to say that your accessories choices are so well thought-out and make the outfits pop! Most online inspirations, for plus or straight sizes, do not do as good of a job as you in selecting a main choice and similar items for a wide range of budgets or options.
Thanks for the work you put into these as I look forward to seeing your new ideas, and browsing older ones, whenever I need some inspiration!
Second, an idea for a future post: dark florals for fall/winter or light-colored florals for spring/summer depending on which hemisphere you’re in.
Thanks so much for the kind words! And I appreciate the suggestions. ❤️
