Looking for some plus size bold colors for fall?

Pantone’s NYFW color trends guides for summer and fall both feature these hot colors.

And some of these looks are casual with jeans while others have slacks for work.

So why not try out these trendy colors?

Outfit 1 Details

In this first look, I started with a chartreuse cashmere sweater.  

Even though this is a hot color, it doesn’t look hot on everyone.

But, with a white button down collar framing the face, it shouldn’t be an issue.

Wear this combo with your favorite jeans.

I chose these flared jeans in a medium wash.

J.Crew Sizing

These flare jeans are from J.Crew.

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.

More Outfit Details

I did a bit of color blocking by adding a hot pink coat.

The chartreuse and pink “pop” off of each other as they are complementary colors.

They’re also both colors in these adorable boucle woven flats.

As for the accessories, I went with an on-trend top-handle bag and oversized square sunglasses.

For jewelry, try some trendy gold huggie hoop earrings.

Stack the wrists with some classic gold bracelets and watch.

Lastly, add a bold pink lipstick like YSL’s “Tropical Pink.”

Outfit 2 Details

Take this plus size casual outfit to a business casual one by swapping the jeans for some kick flare black pants.

Black trousers look great with this chartreuse sweater and boucle flats.

But, swap the brown top handle bag for a black one.

Outfit 3 Details

This next look is a variation on these colorful theme.

Same idea, but I went with a neon pink sweater and a bright orange coat this time.

I also changed up these sunnies to these thick butterfly sunglasses and added a green wrap bracelet for an extra “pop.”

Just like Look 2, make this outfit office appropriate with some black kick flare trousers.
