A new look for my “plus size on a budget series!” This plus size budget boho outfit is so cute with a babydoll style top in a mix of floral prints.
My “Disclaimer”
I want to prevent some anticipated feedback. So please keep these things in mind:
- “Budget” is relative. Some people easily spend $300 on sunglasses, while other people allocate $300 for their annual clothing budget.
- You may be able to find these items elsewhere for less. These are just some “budget-friendly” finds I have come across. And I typically don’t link to clearance items because they sell out and then people are disappointed. Also, I have no way of linking to thrift stores, but obviously, if you want to check out your local thrift stores, I think that is a great idea!
- Recycle & reuse. As with all of my posts, I hope that you can use the pieces you already have in your wardrobe. Additionally, I assume that you can reuse all of the pieces below in other combinations with things in your closet to create a variety of looks. Meaning, I think it is unfair to judge the expense of one outfit as though that is the only way to wear the pieces.
Outfit Details
While this boho top is the star of the show, the flared jeans come in a close second. I love the high waist and button fly details.
Add some Western-style booties and a wide brim fedora for the full look.
And this fringe crossbody bag is amazing!
Lastly, when it comes to boho jewelry, more is more. So throw on a set of rings and some statement earrings. And don’t forget a leather wrap bracelet.

I love this look!
Thanks, Jessica!
Great look!
Thanks, Trisha!
This outfit is soooo cute! I love the Boho look for a variation from the everyday ho-hum. Those jeans are so adorable and if I didn’t already have 5 pairs too many, I would get these too! Thanks for the awesome prices.
Thanks, Michele!
What a great too and hat! Love it!!!
Thanks!
I love this entire look! But I am only 5ft tall, could I wear bell bottom jeans?
Thanks, Katoya! Of course, you should always wear what you want! But, if you want the most ‘flattering’ jeans, I would go with a smaller leg like a bootcut. A large bell bottom or flare is going to swallow your leg, visually.
Super cute outfit. And I love the bag. Can you tell me exactly what suedette means? I can’t tell if it’s real suede or some other man-made material. The description of the bag says suede.
Suedette is faux-suede made from cotton or rayon. It’s not real suede.
