A little boho and totally comfortable, these plus size casual summer dress outfits are great for all of your favorite warm-weather activities.  Whether it’s a concert, outdoor movie, date night, or Sunday brunch with bottomless Mimosas, look effortlessly chic in one of these looks.

In case you didn’t notice, this collection is basically 2 looks with a yellow knit dress and then 2 more with the same accessories but with the same knit dress in black.

First, I created the yellow dress outfits.  But, then I remembered that not everyone looks amazing in that hue, myself included.  So I also want to show how you can pull the same looks with a black dress as well.

Look 1

This first plus size casual summer dress outfit is all about the statement earrings.  You might recognize them from a previous post or this one.  As I mentioned, these earrings closely resemble the Stella + Ruby earrings.  They are 6″ long so “statement” is an understatement.  But, they’re lightweight and amazing!

Then stack on some bangles.  I like these because they are lightweight, noiseless, and come in 4 sizes.  And a turquoise ring, which is stackable!

Top with a denim jacket as needed.  And throw on some wedge espadrille sandals.  I chose blue for a change of pace.

Look 2

For this second look, I took the same dress and top it with a colorful kimono.  Again add some statement earrings and bangle bracelets.  I also included a long necklace to peek out from the kimono.

Rather than wedges, this time I opted for ultra-comfortable, but trendy (again), Birkenstock sandals.  They’re a bit of a different vibe.  More boho, more casual.
