Plus Size Fall Work Capsule 2024 – Part 2

As Always, a Disclaimer

Let me preface this with what I regularly say when creating a capsule:  I am NOT a minimalist.   

If you’re looking for a minimalist capsule, I’m not your girl. 

I am an unapologetic clothes horse.  Every closet in my house, plus a spare bedroom, plus half of my dining room, is full of clothes!  (I need an intervention.)

So this is a collection of ‘mix and match’ outfit ideas for fall and winter work wear.

Plus Size Fall Work Capsule 2024 – Part 2

Pull On Pants

Picking up where we let off in Part 1, we’re going to do it all again but this time with these tweed-looking printed pull-on pants.

I really like that they have the vibe of tweed, but with comfort and stretch.

Plus, they are black and tan, making them a great choice for this capsule.

Outfits 35 – 40

In this next group of plus size work outfits, I start with the tweed-looking printed pull-on pants and top with a rust color sweater.

I added the same on-trend jewelry from Part 1, like this chunky gold necklace and huggie earrings for a modern take.

Add your favorite black tote or a brown tote.

I like the brown suede tote for a lot of these looks, especially with the leopard Mary Jane flats.

Top with designer sunglasses, of course.

Or try these sunnies if you’re on a budget.

You can rock some black pointed toe flats or some trendy leopard print Mary Jane flats.

Both look great!

Just like in Part 1, I added a scarf. to top the sweater.

You can also layer the black and white shirt under the sweater or wear it without the sweater.

Or top the look with the camel cardigan.

Outfits 41 – 48

Sticking with the pull-on pants, here are more ways to wear them…

Try topping with a  cute black top with peplum-style bottom.

Obviously the trendy chunky gold necklace will look great with this combination.  

And either shoe will go well.

Or try these combinations with the silk square scarf.

Outfits 49 – 54

These look show that you can also wear the other blouses with these pants.

Starting with this leopard blouse.

Again, I would only do the black flats with this blouse. I don’t like mixing leopard prints.

Top it with the camel sweater blazer as needed.  And keep the shoes black to elongate the leg.

To accentuate the open V-neck,I added a pearl pendant necklace and some pearl huggie hoop earrings.

You can also wear this combination with the watercolor printed blouse with ruffle detail.

And I love the femininity of this blouse.  It looks great with the pearl jewelry and leopard flats.

I also love it with the brown suede tote bag.

Try the same combinations with the  teal pussy-bow blouse.

Either shoe will work with this ensemble, but I would only wear a brown bag with the leopard flats.

Further, I think the leopard flats look best when topping with the camel sweater blazer.

Outfits 55 – 61

You can also combine these pull-on pants with the eggplant purple notch collar blouse.

It looks great and the color “pops” with the leopard flats (see complementary colors).

But, the black flats are great too.

As always, top with the camel open cardigan as needed.

And add the cashmere scarf for more color.

Outfits 62 – 72

Now let me show you how it all works with these on-trend faux leather pants.

I really like the leopard Mary Jane flats with these pants because they’re cropped and brown.  Just looks the best.

I also like the brown suede tote bag best because of the color of the pants.

But as you will see below, you can still work in the black tote and black flats.

Outfits 73 – 78

Just like with all of the other pants, you can add the blouses to these plus size faux leather cropped pants.

Let’s start with the on trend leopard blouse.

I went with the black flats. because, as I have said, I don’t like multiple leopard prints in one look.

Therefore, I also included the black tote.

But, I do LOVE mixing prints, so do add the  leopard print flats with the watercolor blouse.

Outfits 79 – 80

Although I didn’t include images with the  camel cardigan, you can certainly top these looks with it as needed.
