As you can see, both looks are nearly the same.  They just have different faux leather leggings and ankle booties.

I decided that a rust tunic turtleneck sweater works great with both.  And I love that it’s long!  Why hello, bum coverage!

Then I topped the tunic-length sweater with a shorter black biker jacket.  Sexy!

Accessories

As for the accessories, I kept things a little rock n’ roll with some trendy sunglasses, hammered earrings, and curb chain bracelet.

The crossbody bag is a small messenger style bag with a silver lock.  

And the final edgy detail is the trendy dark matte lip.  I chose MAC’s “Antique Velvet.”

These plus size faux leather leggings (here or here) are very well-reviewed with 4.5/5 stars.

It’s not surprising, considering they’re made by Spanx and offer the control that anyone can use when wearing a legging! 

Some reviewers even reported that these leggings “hid” their cellulite.  What!?!

Sizing

They run a little small, but keep in mind, much like Spanx shapewear undergarments, they will be a pain in the a$$ to put on but that’s what you need to keep everything snatched!

They are a support level 2, which is mid-range for Spanx, which offer 3 levels of support.  So, you’ll want them to be tight.  Something to think about when you’re evaluating the fit.

Also, you should probably size up, especially if you are apple-shaped.  If you experience any rolling down at the waist, getting the next size up should fix that.

Of course, if you don’t like the faux leather leggings, you can opt for black jeans or my favorite ponte leggings.
