Plus Size Floral Pants Outfit

When I saw these floral ankle pants from Talbots in their plus size RSVP collection I was swooning. I just love the gorgeous floral print with bright grass green and hot pink. These pants are easy to dress up or down. They can easily go to the office all spring and summer, just throw on a coordinating cardigan or jacket. And you can also dress them down with a basic tee and denim jacket. Or wear them “dressed up” to a garden party instead of a summer dress.

The look I created below is perfect for a multitude of events. Some of the details, like the lace in the top and the silk dupioni fabric of the mules, make the outfit dressy enough to go to a baby shower or daytime party. Side note: if you are looking for a strapless bra to wear with this style top, try this one. At the same time, you can easily wear this look to a casual brunch or summer bbq.

To keep the pants looking fresh and not frumpy, I added some trendy accessories (this is key), like neon pink statement fringe earrings, see some similar alternatives below, and the Cult Gaia Ark Bamboo Clutch, which every blogger is sporting again this spring. As I mentioned in my Spring Haul post I purchased a Bamboo Bag which looks exactly like the Cult Gaia except it is missing the tiny beads between the bamboo pieces at the top. Um, who cares? The bag is adorable!

And lastly, I included some of my personal “jewelry goals” for the wrists, David Yurman bracelets and a Michele two-tone diamond Deco watch, not just because I am bougie and aspire to the finer things in life, but also because I thought it would be a good challenge to find similar alternatives.
