Two plus size green stripe sweater outfits for fall and winter.
Plus Size Green Stripe Sweater Outfits
Life is Short, Wear Stripes
These plus size looks feature a striped sweater.
But, if you’re unsure about stripes, please read this post “Are horizontal stripes REALLY making you look fat?,” written by Melissa at Suger Coat It.
She explains, “No, horizontal stripes won’t make you look fat. Only being fat makes you look fat. And you know what, that’s okay.”
I think Melissa does a fantastic job of breaking down this outdated “rule” regarding plus sizes and stripes.
Outfit Details
Like I said, these outfits have a striped green sweater which I paired with a hot pink wool coat.
Wear this combo with your favorite jeans.
I chose these flared jeans in a medium wash.
J.Crew Sizing
These flare jeans are from J.Crew.
In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X.
Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant.
One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.
Accessories
For shoes, I chose some classics: the Tory Burch Miller flats. Classic.
And for the bag, a bougie crossbody camera bag in suede from Saint Laurent.
Aviator sunglasses and cute and trendy huggie earrings top the look.
Lipstick
I thought I’d also mention the featured lipstick is my favorite.
As I’ve said, the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipsticks (or here) are my favorite lipsticks.
I readily admit they are bougie AF and totally break the budget. But they are amazing!
They’re 65% oil and feel amazing on the lips! Not to mention they smell fantastic.
Plus, the packaging is so gorgeous that I actually bought a lipstick holder, like this one, to display them.
And I just can’t say enough great things about them!
The closest lippies I have found at more reasonable prices are L’Oreal’s Colour Riche Shine Lipstick and Sephora’s Rouge Lacquer Lipsticks.
While both are similar, they aren’t even close to the decadence of the YSL ones.
Perfume
Smell like a rich b!tch with one of my favorite scents: Chanel’s Gabrielle.
And now you can smell like a rich b!tch while on a budget with the perfume brand, Dossier.
I recently tried several fragrances. And so far, I love them!
Dossier’s “Floral Ylang Ylang” is inspired by Chanel’s Gabrielle.
Oh la la! An amazing luxury scent at a fraction of the price!

This combo is super cute!!! I love the colors! And stripes got me rethinking myself!
dHello, today I purchased a Tory Burch cross body bag that you have recommended several times. I am so looking forward to using it. Also, if I may recommend it, I bought a pair of shoes from Tod’s for Autumn, Winter. Expensive ut heavenly to wear. (Loafers)
I wish all of you a lovely Autumn
