I’m excited to talk about some previously “unattainable” items in this plus size herringbone vest outfits post.  I have been obsessed with that J.Crew herringbone vest that was all the rage a few years ago.  

In case you’ve been living under a rock and missed the must-have-item that every style blogger wore in the fall of 2014, just search “herringbone vest” on Pinterest.  But prepare yourself for about 5,000 adorable outfits!  

Unfortunately, the coveted vest was never offered in plus sizes.  In fact, I have never come across a comparable herringbone vest, until now!   Enter the herringbone print vest from Coldwater Creek.

As you can see from a quick Pinterest search, there are endless possibilities with a herringbone vest.

Today’s post is really just one outfit with 3 different pairs of boots: classic riding boots, Hunter rain boots, and duck boots. 

So whether you’re headed to a pumpkin patch, vineyard, Christmas tree farm, or any other outdoor activity this fall, you’re covered!

But wait, Hunter boots for wide calves?!?!  Um, yesssss!  When I learned that Hunter now makes their iconic tall rain boots in an “adjustable” version (glossy, matte) that can fit up to an 18″ calf, I think I literally shed a tear of joy.  My fellow wide-calved gals know the struggle is real.  So. Real.  By the way, if you need help measuring your calves and shopping for wide calf boots, be sure to read this post.
