Outfit Details

For lack of a better or less influencer-y word, I am obsessed with these “lady jackets” from J.Crew.

My first inclination is to pair them with some distressed jeans.  I love those juxtapositions!

A conservative piece with trendy and modern jeans.  A winner every time.

So for these first two looks I went with some black demi-boot jeans, which are a slimmer take on the kick flare.

J.Crew Sizing

These black demi-boot jeans are from J.Crew.

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.

More Outfit Details

I put a basic white tank under the lady jacket, but any basic layer will do.

As for accessories, as usual, I had to make them bougie.

Some gold hoop earrings and a two-tone stacked wrist go perfectly with the mules.

I recently picked up this gold ring during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  It’s gorgeous!

I know you’ve heard all about my favorite lipstick, like a lot. 

Well, now I’m going to try one of these “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Sticks,” which are similar but more moisturizing with a glossier finish.  

I’ll report back.
