I’m very happy to get to partner with Nordstrom again to bring you this plus size long cardigan outfit styled three ways. If you’re a regular reader, you know that I love Nordys!
First, I think they have a great selection of plus sizes. And second, they offer free shipping and free returns with no minimums. Not to mention they have amazing customer service, in my opinion.
So, take a look at what I put together:
Plus Size Long Cardigan Outfits
Choose Your Own Adventure
Like I said, this “look” is actually three nearly identical outfits. This is what happens when there are too many amazing options to chose from!
I loved so many of the booties and bags! I couldn’t make a final decision about which combination I liked best. Think of this post as a “Choose Your Own Adevnture.” Tell me which is your favorite in the comments below!
Plus Size Long Cardigan
As you can see the rust plus size long cardigan is the star of the show! The length and the rich color inspired me!
Bags & Booties
And my first instinct was to pair the cardi with snake print. So when I came across this Python bag, I died! I mean how amazing is that bag? So, of course this lead me to a black western-vibe bootie. Done.
Except, I know that Chloe bag is not in everyone’s budget, so I decided to look into snake print booties as an alternative option.
And then I couldn’t decide between these Chelsea booties or these Vince Camuto booties. They are both equally fantastic! Am I right?
So the decision will probably come down to personal preference. For myself, I need a low to flat heel. So as much as I love the Vince Camuto booties, they will never be mine. So sad.
Bottom line, I wanted to show you all of the choices! Including some amazing wide width options I found for those with wide feet.

I have several long cardis and find them invaluable! However, I also use the as a dress. Wrap the cardi tight over a shirt or tee, ( you may wish to secure with a broch or sequined pin or hide the pin behind the fabric for a decreet look) and then wrap a belt on top to emphasized the waist. Wear with heavy tights and boots or fine mesh tights and court shoes. (Low og high heel, both work.) This way you get more milage out of your cardi.
Great idea!
