A Modern Sweatsuit
A plus size luxury loungewear set from Spanx with wide leg sweatpants and a half-zip sweatshirt.
This set is from Spanx’s AirEssentials collection.
And a great way to look good while totally comfortable in the 4-way stretch and breathable fabric.
Do note the inseams as they run long: Petite 28.5” (recommended for 5’4” and under), Regular 30.5″, Tall 33.5″ (recommended for 5’9” and above)
This is a great set for lounging, but when it’s time to go somewhere, go full on athleisure with some sneakers.
Outfit 1 Details
In this first look, I added some classic Adidas Samba sneakers.
These kicks are trending, but I’ve been wearing them since the 90s.
Make the luxe look a bit more bougie with a silver Gucci crossbody bag. So chic.
Speaking of bougie, these silver drop earrings look just like the trendy Bottega Veneta earrings but at a fraction of the price.
A simple set of silver bracelets and rings complete the look.
Lipstick
As I recently mentioned, I finally tried the YSL’s Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Sticks.
I know you have heard me talk about my favorite lipsticks, the YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-in-Stick Lipstick Balms, many many times.

I am a big fan! And then I had someone suggest I try YSL’s Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Sticks.
And because I refuse to pay full price for these insanely-priced lippies, I had to wait for the Sephora sale.
Anyway, point is, I finally tried one! I purchased the “Showcasino Nude” shade.
And yes, they are awesome!
It looks like a lip gloss, but has more staying power without the “stickiness” that I hate in long-lasting glosses.
But most importantly, they are moisturizing. I mean like decadent moisture!
They are made with mango oil, vitamin E, pomegranate extract, and hyaluronic acid.
And they smell similar to the Rouge Volupté Shine, which is amazing!
Point is, I think I have a new favorite.
Perfume
I included Jo Malone’s “Peony & Blush Suede Cologne” which smells like peonies, red apple, and blush suede.
I see that Dossier makes a perfume called “Floral Berries,” which is inspired by Malone’s Peony & Blush Suede.
So far I have enjoyed every Dossier fragrance I’ve tried, so check it out!

This second look is much like the first, but I added some Nike running sneakers and a different crossbody bag.
This would be a great outfit for walking or just running some errands.
Just giving you options.

Outfit 3 Details
The last look is a good choice for warmer weather.
A grey tee tops the look with rose colored sling bag.
For the bag, I chose this sling bag in “Rose Infused” that Rosey Blair swears is a great choice for plus size gals.
She rocks it and is a size 24.

And for shoes, I went with silver Birkenstock sandals.
Birkenstock Sizing
As I mention below, Birkenstock sizing can be a little confusing.
First, they’re made in Germany so they use European sizing, which is whole sizes only.
Second, some of their sandals, including those featured here, have unisex footbeds.
This means they are wider than women’s sandals.
So for Birkenstock sandals, a “Regular” width fits medium to wide feet.
And “Narrow” fits narrow to medium width feet.
Bottom line, check the width carefully before ordering Birks.
