Plus Size Picks - Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

It’s that time of year again! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! If you’e not familiar, each summer Nordstrom has an amazing sale. Why so amazing? Well, Nordstrom marks down brand-spanking-new fall items, including brands that rarely go on sale. After the sale, prices go back up. So this sale is a great opportunity to score some fresh items for the upcoming fall season at great prices!

This year’s sale starts for Nordstrom card holders (“early access”) today, July 12th, and opens to the public on July 20th. Of course, if you don’t have a Nordstrom card, you an apply for one online right now. And you don’t have to wait for the card to arrive in the mail to start saving. You can start shopping the sale immediately! Plus you get $40 to use at Nordy’s on the day you are approved! Woot!

Prices go up August 6th, but beware, things do sell out quickly! And as always, remember that Nordstrom offers free shipping and free returns all day, everyday! Plus Size Picks – First Look – Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

Below are some of my top picks from a first glance at the #NSale. The highly-praised Spanx faux leather leggings are marked down, plus some other new varieties! Spanx as a brand is very rarely on sale, so this is a great opportunity to stock up on some of their shapewear as well! I also love the look [and price] of this plus size hooded cardigan. And, amazingly, some of the infamous Barefoot Dreams cozy cardis are on sale as well! Of course, I had to throw in some Tory Burch sale items, like these beautiful flats.
