A new post for my “plus size on a budget series!”  As you already know, I love a blazer with jeans.  And this plus size orange blazer is rocking my world right now!

My “Disclaimer”

I want to prevent some anticipated feedback.  So please keep these things in mind:

• “Budget” is relative.  Some people easily spend $300 on sunglasses, while other people allocate $300 for their annual clothing budget.
• You may be able to find these items elsewhere for less.  These are just some “budget-friendly” finds I have come across.  And I typically don’t link to clearance items because they sell out and then people are disappointed.  Also, I have no way of linking to thrift stores, but obviously, if you want to check out your local thrift stores, I think that is a great idea!
• Recycle & reuse.  As with all of my posts, I hope that you can use the pieces you already have in your wardrobe.  Additionally, I assume that you can reuse all of the pieces below in other combinations with things in your closet to create a variety of looks.  Meaning, I think it is unfair to judge the expense of one outfit as though that is the only way to wear the pieces.

Outfit Details

You might remember a similar look on the blog.  The thing is these are such classic pieces that they never go out of style!  And I love that this is a remake of a look, but on a budget.

You can never go wrong with orange and navy, which is why when I saw this amazing plus size orange blazer, at an amazing price, I paired it with a navy and white striped tee. The blazer comes in sizes 0X (14W) – 5X (32W/34W).  Thank you, JCPenney for this range of sizes!

Obviously any jeans will do.  But, I chose these bootcut jeans to keep things sophisticated and something you could possibly wear on casual Friday.  In my opinion, if you can or want to wear jeans to work, bootcut dark denim jeans are the best choice.

I finished the look with some cognac sandals and a trendy croc-embossed bucket bag.  Oh and I should mention I included my favorite sunnies, that I have in black, which closely resemble the beautiful Celine shades.
