If you regularly read this blog, you know that I love color! So when I came across these cashmere sweaters, available in 20 colors, I became inspired.
I was immediately attracted to this orange color, which has melon-vibes. I then thought about a navy gingham shirt to pair it with.
You might remember that I created a similar look last month with magenta and yellow and a gingham shirt.
So following the same idea, wide calf riding boots, a parka, and a Louis Vuitton bag seemed like the perfect finish.

Hi Alexa,
I love your blog! I also love that you are featuring J.Crew items that are now plus size. I have a question for you, do you know if on the J.Crew plus size tops adjust the length for the plus sizes? Have you actually purchased anything from them and tried the tops? Thank you!
Hi Christie,
I just ordered a top so should have an answer from my personal experience soon. In the meantime though, all of the reviews I received from my readers have been overwhelmingly positive. Including a jacket that my mom, who is 5’10”, bought and found to be long enough in the body and the sleeves. Sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. I hope that helps!
Hello
I am new to your blog. Great info , thanks for sharing.
I love the look of scrafs but struggle to feel comfortable in them. I feel that add more bulk to my already large chest.
Thoughts, best ways to tie ….
Thanks for any insight
Hi Shelley,
I would try a lot of different ways in the mirror and decide which are most flattering for you. This video is helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LYAEz777AU
But, also, realize that sometimes it’s more about our comfort with ourselves than about the items we choose to wear. Like, if you feel self-conscious about your chest then no matter what you wear, you’re not going to feel comfortable. And it can also limit you from wearing what you really want to wear!
Look, we all have this issue. In this f’ed up society, with the “ideal beauty standard” shoved down all throats all day everyday, it’s hard for a girl to just live! But, at some point, you’ve got to just rock that beautiful scarf because you love it! And I mean, it’s just a scarf, it really can’t change the way you look. But, I swear it will probably change the way you feel, if you let it! 🙂
