I have a pair of red flats that I wear all the time so I wanted to show you some plus size outfits with red flats!
If you don’t have red flats, a red handbag would work too.
I’m always a fan of adding pops of color to an outfit.
The basic idea is to take neutral and classic pieces, such as a trench coat or grey cashmere sweater, and combine with a very bright accessory.
Easy peasy!
Take a look at this outfit post for some inspiration.
Plus Size Outfits with Red Flats
This first look is a preppy classic with a beautiful plus size cashmere sweater from L.L. Bean.
I have talked about L.L. Bean before because I think they offer fantastic quality and their customer service is some of the best I’ve ever had.
They have a guarantee that you can return used items for up to one year if they are defective in some way. They once took back a cot that I broke by standing on its edge (a no no) that I had for five years! No questions asked.
So check out their plus size clothing, they have some great staples.

This second plus size outfit with red flats is very similar to the first, switching out just a couple of items.
The focal point is this gorgeous lightweight Burberry scarf, which will never go out of style and always make you look like a million bucks.
However, it is expensive. Like, crazy pricey. If you’ve got it like that, I also recommend their classic cashmere scarf as well.
If you can’t spend hundreds on a scarf, check out this similar one I found on Amazon. You can find more of my Amazon picks here.

Hallelujah! I am so glad that I found your blog. I have always had issues putting together complete outfits, especially with accessories. I tried Stitchfix for a few months, but they kept sending me clothes that I wouldn’t wear, especially in 100 degree weather! Looking through your posts, has given several ideas for outfits that would work for my size and budget. You have literally done all of the work by putting together the outfits and posted where to buy them. Thank you..Thank you..Thank you! You have no idea how much you’ve helped me. ?
This is wonderful to hear, Cindy!!! I’m so glad you find the blog helpful. 🙂 And thank you for taking the time to leave the kind comment.
I agree with Cindy’s comment. Former StictchFix member, but left, as I was hugely disappointed with their vision of what plus size women want to wear. I appreciate your blog and the different budget/prices you recommend. Sometimes I have a couple of items in my closet – like a red bag and shoes – and you give me ideas to complete the look. Thanks for all your hard work.
Thanks, Aldona!!!
