Ahh, I love so many things about this plus size pink blazer outfit! It is so perfect for a date night! At least, this is how I like to dress for a night out. Chic, yet comfortable. Sorry, I am a jeans-aholic. From the bright hot pink blazer to the luxurious velvet pumps (how freakin’ gorgeous are they?)!
Starting from the top, I included a coordinated high gloss liquid lipstick that I have been dying to try! It is the new “Liquid Latex” by Too Faced in the color “Hot Mess,” described as a “lacquered color that lasts for hours.” It was recently included in Jaclyn Hill’s current favorites video, which means it is probably pretty amazing. The closest less expensive alternative I could find would be the L’Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick. I have it in “Nude Ballet” and it might be my most favorite lipstick ever. It is not long wearing, but SO incredibly glossy and pigmented. It feels like a very high end lipstick. And I think the “Fuschsia Orchestra” color would be perfect with this look.
I also added two y-necklaces that are long enough (20″+) to accommodate those of us with larger necks. I love layering delicate necklaces right now, the key is to find them long enough. Someday, when I have my life more together, I will re-launch my jewelry collection, which will include longer feminine and delicate necklaces and chokers for plus size women.
This plus size pink blazer outfit also includes a plus size cami that is at the top of my wishlist. It looks like it would be so flattering and tummy-hiding. I have a feeling it’s going to become a wardrobe staple. And I love it under a structured blazer to really change my silhouette. If you are looking for more styling tips for large(r) tummies, go here.
And lastly I thew in some plus size jeans with the latest trend: the step hem. I can’t really explain why, but I love this trend! Basically the jeans are more of an ankle length in the front and longer in the back, with a frayed hem. And I love to pair ankle length jeans with sexy pumps or strappy sandals. Perfect for a night out!
