I’m curious to know if anybody has tried some of the JCrew plus sizes. Are they really plus-sized? The cut on this sweater seems pretty slim. I love it but am a little concerned there might not be quite enough to do the job.
Hi Diane,
I was hesitant to include J.Crew at first. But I asked for some feedback on IG and heard from a couple of people who said they were cut “true to size” and one person even said she sized down with an item from J.Crew Factory. According to their size chart, J.Crew Factory is comparable to Lane Bryant with a tiny bit extra room. And J.Crew is slightly (ever so slightly smaller) and comparable to Lane Bryant too.
Unfortunately they don’t have free returns, but you can return to a store if there is one nearby. But note I think you can only return Factory to Factory stores and J.Crew to J.Crew stores.
If you do decide to try them, please let me know what you think. I would really love to hear more about the fit. Thanks! 🙂
Thanks! I just might need to try it. These are fabulous!!
I couldn’t quite make the leap to red plaid pants (yet), but I did just buy a pair of solid red pants and I’m working them with these looks.
Perfect!
