Plus Size Plaid Vest Outfit

Is plaid the new stripes? Because I am mad for plaid!

So when I saw this plus size plaid vest (or here) I was inspired to post about it on the blog!

I paired it with a lilac cashmere sweater.

If you remember from my previous post, Walmart.com has some great cashmere sweaters on sale right now, including this one, which also comes in a similar color. Woot!

Family Photos Idea

This plus size plaid vest is in J.Crew’s signature tartan plaid.

In case you want to coordinate with your family for a holiday photo, I thought it worth mentioning that an adorable girl’s dress (or here) and boy’s shirt (or here) comes in the same signature plaid as the plus size plaid vest (or here).

Plus, there is a men’s shirt in the same in sizes x-small through xx-large.

There is also a coordinating women’s button down, but it only goes to a size 16.

J.Crew also has more in the plaid, like a cap, scarf, and cape.

I think dressing the kiddos and who fam in these would make a great photo for next year’s holiday cards!

Gucci Belts

I added the trendy Gucci belt with this look. If you want to show it off, just tuck in the front of your sweater.

As I’ve said, I haven’t personally tried the Double G Gucci belts, but they are still the “it” accessory.

Sadly, they aren’t large enough for me.

However, they come as large as a size 20 (or 44″ waist)!

Both the thinner Double G Gucci belts and the wider Double G Gucci belts now come up to a size 120! The latter is probably a better choice for jeans depending on your personal preference. So these belts are accessible to those with larger waists [and much larger wallets]!

Riding Boots

I just adore these wide calf Naturalizer riding boots, but they will only fit up to 16.3″ calf.

As I’ve said, I love Duo Boots for their high quality, genuine leather, “custom” sizing, and availability of calf widths up to 20″ circumference! They have some similar boots here.
