Two plus size purple sweater outfits for keeping it a little preppy and a little fun this winter.
Plus Size Purple Sweater Outfits
Outfit 1 Details
As I recently mentioned, pastels are trending.
So both of these plus size casual outfits feature a pastel purple sweater.
It’s cashmere and gorge! Of course, if cashmere is over your budget, check out this sweater.
I layered this lovely orchid sweater over a classic white collared shirt.
As for bottoms, I chose these plus size high-rise flare jeans, which have a bit of stretch.
J.Crew Sizing
The flare jeans are from J.Crew.
In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X.
Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant.
One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.
More Outfit Details
I love adding some interest with these embellished tweed flats. So cute!
And, of course, I had to make it a little bougie with a designer calfskin suede matelassé convertible bag.
The chain strap can be adjusted to wear as a shoulder bag or across the body. Love it!
You can see more looks with a similar bag here and here.
Add a brown belt if you’d like.
And top the outfit with some oversized square sunglasses.
Or try these for a more affordable option.
Jewelry
I added a bit of glam with these purple crystal teardrop stud earrings.
Just a little sparkle.
And then I went with my classic gold wrist stack.
I included this Tory Burch watch and bangle bracelet.
And I have the featured chain bracelet, it’s great and fits my slightly-larger-than-average wrists.
Try one of the Amazon bracelets for a selection of sizes at more reasonable prices.
And finish the jewelry with a gold dome ring.
See a similar but less expensive option here.
Perfume
I also included the infamous and almost too popular Baccarat Rouge 540 perfume by Maison Francis Kurkdjian.
If it’s over your budget, I highly recommend you try the Dossier version.
I ordered a bunch of Dossier’s “designer-inspired” scents. And so far, I love them!
Try their “Ambery Saffron,” which is inspired by MFK’s Baccarat Rouge 540.
Oh la la! An amazing luxury scent at a fraction of the price!

Outfit 2 Details
This second plus size casual outfit featuring a pastel purple orchid sweater is a sportier version.
Mainly because this time I added some pastel purple Adidas sneakers.
Although these sneakers are trending, I personally think they’re timeless.
Top either look with a trench coat as needed. So classic. So preppy!
Accessories
And top the look with my latest favorite sunglasses, these oversized square aviator sunnies from Diff.
My Mom gave me these in gold with tortoise color. I LOVE them!
You can see me wearing them here.
Grab an on-trend hobo-style leather shoulder bag.
And finish things with some trendy gold drop earrings.
Perfume
Now make sure you smell as beautiful as you look!
I included Chanel’s Gabrielle, which is such a “rich” floral fragrance.
If it’s over your budget, I highly recommend you try the Dossier version.
I ordered a bunch of their scents. And so far, I love them!
I own their “Floral Ylang Ylang,” which is inspired by Chanel’s Gabrielle.
And I think it’s great. In fact, I used the entire bottle already!
For me, that is really saying something. It’s a great “every day” scent.
Oh la la! An amazing luxury scent at a fraction of the price!
