I like the unexpected combination of khaki green and turquoise in this plus size skort outfit. This plus size skort is so cute with its tie belt! But, if skorts aren’t your thing, shorts, capris, or pants would also work great! Add a straw tote and espadrille wedges and you’re summer-ready.

I see jean jackets posted all the time in summer outfits…..isn’t it too hot in the summer for a jean jacket??
I guess it depends on where you live. Some of the places I travel to during the summer- New England, Northern California, and much of the west coast require layers, especially in the evening. Even mild evenings in the early and late summer in the mid-Atlantic are perfect for a light denim jacket. I also have readers in the UK who always appreciate layers.
So I like to show denim jackets as an optional layer in case people are interested. Obviously you can forego the jacket if it isn’t practical. You can also switch the white tank for a white tee if you want more coverage.
Thanks for reading! 🙂
Love this outfit but skirt not realistic for true plus size. Maybe Bermuda shorts of some kind.
Now that hot, hot summer is coming, could you find some everyday tops that cover the arms and are also cool?
I did a “round up” a few summers ago. Maybe it’s time for another post like that! Thanks for the idea!
