Let me preface this with what I regularly say when creating a capsule:  I am NOT a minimalist.   

If you’re looking for a minimalist capsule, I’m not your girl. 

I am an unapologetic clothes horse. 

Every closet in my house, plus a spare bedroom, plus half of my dining room, is full of clothes!  (I need an intervention.)

So this is a collection of ‘mix and match’ outfit ideas for early spring and summer work wear.

Plus Size Spring Work Capsule 2025 – Part 2

In Part 1 I focused on the red suit (jacket, pants) and hot pink tweed jacket / pants  combinations.

So this time I’m going to focus more on the neutrals with these camel trousers.

So chic!

Of course, I love these camel trousers with the leopard print blouse.

Top with a classic trench as needed.

As you can see, you can opt for the black flats or tan flats.

Any leopard blouse will do…

Or go with one of the neutral tops with the leopard scarf.

And as you can see, these neutral looks work with the black bag, belt, and flats or the Burberry tan tote, tan belt, and chestnut flats.

Tieks & My Wide Feet

I was recently gifted a pair of Tieks.

I have wide width feet and typically wear a size 7.5W in ballet flats.

The size 8 fit!  And they are cute and comfortable!

You can see a little about them here.

For these looks, I chose the color “Chestnut.”

Although I don’t show more combinations, but these looks will also work with the pink blouse and red blouse.

Sunglasses

I added my favorite Diff sunglasses (I have and love these).

So classy! 

Plus, for every pair sold, DIFF helps to provide the gift of sight to someone in need through eye exams, eye surgery, medicine, and glasses.

I also added these chic Fendi black shades.

If they’re unaffordable, try these, which I have, as they look quite similar.

You can also combine with the other neutral scarf.

All of the scarves from this capsule wardrobe should work for these looks, so mix it up!

Even More Camel Trousers Outfits

And I love these camel trousers mixed simply with neutrals, like the black ponte knit top, white sweater, or camel cardigan.

I also want to mention the black bag

Although I show this camel cardigan worn as a top, which is trending, you can also wear it as a cardigan.

Layer it over another neutral top or pick up the coordinating sleeveless turtleneck.

Of course, top with the trench as needed, as always.

Jewelry

You may have noticed that I kept the jewelry rather simple.

On trend and understated gold pieces.

Add this statement gold necklace, which is 15″ with a 4″ extender, so should fit nearly everyone comfortably.

If you’d like it even longer, simply add a necklace extender.

And while we’re at it, if you have trouble putting on necklaces, try a magnetic clasp.

I added my classic gold wrist stack.

I included this Tory Burch watch and bangle bracelet.

And I have the featured chain bracelet, it’s great and fits my slightly-larger-than-average wrists.

Try one of the Amazon bracelets for a selection of sizes at more reasonable prices.

Lastly, throw on a gold dome ring.  So chic!

Lip Gloss Stick

I know that I used to talk about my favorite lipstick all the time… and then YSL discontinued it.  Gasp! 

But these YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks are the same formula with a new scent!  I ordered and tried my favorite shade, Nude Lavalliere, from Sephora. and can confirm they are the same!

However, I also tried this YSL lippie “Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick” in “Showcasing Nude” and must say that I like this formula better.  Double gasp!

It seems to be as moisturizing as the Loveshine Lip Oil Sticks but with a better glossy finish.

They don’t last very long on the lips, but the moisture does, for sure.

Anyway, I know they are crazy expensive!  Like, ridiculous.  But, they are SO good!

If you’re in the market for a bougie splurge, maybe give them a try.

Chanel Perfume

I also included Chanel’s Gabrielle, which is such a “rich” floral fragrance.

If it’s over your budget, I highly recommend you try the Dossier version.

I ordered a bunch of their scents.  And so far, I love them! 

I own their “Floral Ylang Ylang,” which is inspired by Chanel’s Gabrielle.

And I think it’s great.  In fact, I used the entire bottle already!  

For me, that is really saying something.  It’s a great “every day” scent.

Oh la la!  An amazing luxury scent at a fraction of the price!
