Four plus size striped shirt outfits for casual summer days.

Some of these will work for fall as well, especially if you swap the sandals for some flats.

Outfit 1 Details

This first look is great for summer with a plus size striped halter top.

Well, it’s really more like a shirt.  And it is so cute!

If you need a multi-way bra, try this one.

Top it with a white cardigan as needed.

I added some on trend cropped wide leg white pants.

Spanx’s “Silver Lining”

Spanx is boasting that these white cropped pants have 100% opacity with their “Ultimate Opacity Technology.”

Ok, I see you.

“… no more pocket show-through, unsightly seam lines, bulky buttons or zippers.”

Now, I haven’t tried these myself.  I need a 4X, which they don’t make yet.

But, everything I read points to: you’re going to love them!

More Outfit 1 Details

For accessories, I added an on trend woven tote in beige and some chic sunglasses.

For shoes, try some platform espadrille wedges.

I personally like a chunky shoe with cropped wide legs.  I just find it more flattering.

For jewelry, some gold hoops and a stacked wrist complete the look.

Outfit 2 Details

If white on white isn’t your thing, try topping the halter top with a beige cardigan.

And then swap the white crops with some cute demi-boot jeans, which are similar to kick flare jeans but with a slimmer leg.

With a 28″ inseam they should go to just above the ankle.

J.Crew Sizing

These demi-boot jeans are from J.Crew.

In case you haven’t heard, J.Crew now has many items in plus sizes up to a size 24 or 3X. 

Their sizing is comparable to Lane Bryant. 

One thing to note is that some of their pants and jeans come by waist sizing (vanity), so check the size chart below to see which size you are.

More Outfit 2 Details

Just like the first outfit idea, I added an on trend woven tote in beige and some chic sunglasses.

But for jewelry I went with some silver hoop earrings and a two-tone stacked wrist.

And then one of my favorite rings in silver.  I recently picked it up in gold.

These last two outfit ideas are just like the first two, except I swapped the halter top for a similar long sleeved button down shirt.

Roll up the sleeves as needed.

And just like the first two looks, top with a cardigan as needed.
