As I’ve said many times, Nordstrom has several “in-house” brands that offer quality and style at a variety of price points. 

These looks feature gorgeous sleeveless peplum sweaters made by Halogen.

Nordstrom’s Halogen brand makes modern staples including workwear basics.

Halogen also makes the featured long open blazer.

Day 1 Outfit Details

Look on-trend at work this spring and summer in a neon green sleeveless sweater. topped with a long open blazer.

As I said in my Instagram Live on spring trends vibrant colors, including neon, slides, and oversized blazers are trending this spring.

So this “day” outfit idea is on point and office-appropriate.  Woot!

I chose a wide-leg off-white trouser, also trending.  But, a straight leg or even cropped wide-leg would also work.

As for undergarments, opt for something the same as your skin tone like a shaping brief that’s comfortable enough to wear all day or a slightly firmer one with a higher waist.

You could also try a high-waisted thong.

Day 1 Outfit Accessories

Beautiful white mules will look great with these wide leg pants.  If you’d prefer an open toe, check these out.

I added an unexpected pop of blue with this tote bag.

Then top with some bold silver earrings and a bracelet set.

Lastly, finish the look with a bright fuchsia lip.
