Six “quick looks” with some adorable plus size summer dresses.
You might notice these outfits are not as “complete” as my usual, but the essentials are there.
Plus Size Summer Dresses
These plus size outfit ideas are great for casual brunches or even daytime weddings.
Statement earrings and a straw or raffia bag can do a lot for a cute dress!

I added some fun color to a hot pink ruffled-shoulder and smocked-bodice midi dress with these statement drop earrings and colorful sandals.
Then I added some chic accessories like these oversized sunglasses and a layered coin necklace.
The straw tote looks quite similar to this Loewe straw and leather bag, but at a fraction of the price.
Woo hoo!
These stretch snake chain style bracelets are all the rage right now.
Wear them stacked.
I found and bought some similar ones from Amazon that I love.
They easily fit my slightly-larger-than-average sized wrists.

I’m in love with this ruffle sleeved tiered dress!
It comes in three colors, I opted for the burnt orange.
Add some colorful long statement earrings.
Do note these are quite long and “statement-making.”
And this raffia tote is exquisite. It looks way more expensive than it is!
Add some braided espadrille wedge sandals for the full look.

I love this plus size halter midi dress in this trendy ditsy print.
It’s satin, making it a great choice for a wedding or event.
Um, did I mention it’s under twenty-five bucks? [jaw drop]
Again, statement earrings for the win!
And I love these beaded beauties in baby blue.
If you’re on a budget, try these for a similar vibe.
Grab a raffia framed clutch and some somewhat practical but chic low heeled sandals.
So chic!

This tiered floral maxi dress is another inexpensive winner.
A bright beautiful print with a smocked back and adorable tie in the front, this dress is a statement-maker itself.
But, add some long over-the-top pink statement earrings to really turn heads.
Again, go with a straw tote and espadrille wedge sandals for a classic summer look.
I kept it pretty casual. This looks like a classic beach dress to me.

This fifth look could also work well for a day wedding or event.
This bright blue dress has on-trend tiers and cute sleeves.
Yes, arm coverage for those that want it!
I love these big beaded and raffia earrings with it.
And if you’re really trying to do it up, they actually make a bigger and longer version.
Add a bamboo bag for the essentials and complete the look with some espadrille wedges.

This last look is a beautiful faux wrap midi dress in a green tropical print.
I love the fluttery hem detail.
I added a big raffia clutch with fringe.
But I kept the jewelry a bit more understated (for me).
Jewelry
For jewelry, start with a trendy gold layered coin necklace.
Or try these which are similar and a great price from Amazon.
I have them in every size they make!
Add one of my favorite bracelets with a gold coin charm.
It’s from Amazon and it looks much more expensive than it is.
It fits my slightly-larger-than-average wrists perfectly.

Jewelry Care
These are inexpensive plated pieces so you might need to “baby” them for longevity.
Avoid the obvious: showers, pools, spraying your wrist with perfume while wearing them.
Store them in air-tight plastic bags, if possible. This will keep the plating from damage and tarnishing.
