My “Disclaimer”

I want to prevent some anticipated feedback.  So please keep these things in mind:

• “Budget” is relative.  Some people easily spend $300 on sunglasses, while other people allocate $300 for their annual clothing budget.
• You may be able to find these items elsewhere for less.  These are just some “budget-friendly” finds I have come across.  And I typically don’t link to clearance items because they sell out and then people are disappointed.  Also, I have no way of linking to thrift stores, but obviously, if you want to check out your local thrift stores, I think that is a great idea!
• Recycle & reuse.  As with all of my posts, I hope that you can use the pieces you already have in your wardrobe.  Additionally, I assume that you can reuse all of the pieces below in other combinations with things in your closet to create a variety of looks.  Meaning, I think it is unfair to judge the expense of one outfit as though that is the only way to wear the pieces.

Someone mentioned wanting an “edgy” summer look on a budget,

Of course, I went back to try to find the comment and can’t (#ADHD).

Much like my last post, I’m not sure this is edgy, but I love!

Outfit Details

For this look I went with the same cropped cargo pants as those in my last post.

These olive green pants have a 27″ inseam with ties at the ankles.

Top these pants with a basic blank tank.

A black tee will also work.

Now bring on the “edgy” accessories.

Statement Sandals

First, these bright multi-colored heeled sandals are statement makers!

They’re 4.25″ high with a .75″ platform.

But fear not, I found some lower alternatives that would also work.

Accessories

Top the look with some oversized sunglasses.

I have these in black.  They’re great!

For the bag, I opted for a metallic fuchsia shoulder bag with bold gold chain.

And a bold plum lip.

Jewelry

As for the jewelry, trends on trends on trends!

Start with these trendy gold earrings.  Love them!

Then add a layered coin and chain necklace.

It is also a statement-maker.

For bracelets, stack these on.  I have them and think they’re great for the price.

And they fit my slightly-larger-than-average wrists perfectly (they stretch!).
