Plus Size Twofer Sweater

I saw this plus size twofer sweater and decided I had to feature it.

First, it’s cute.  It’s not your average “twofer,” it is more of a peplum sitch, which I love.

Second, during these times of trending wide leg jeans, practically everything comes cropped.

This is an example of one of the ways I have mentioned that you can wear cropped items, by layering.

So if you see a cropped sweater that you love but is too short for your comfort (I don’t want my bra to pop out when raising my arms, hello 😉 ), try layering it over a much longer shirt or top.  

Just be mindful of your proportions.

Point is, you can DIY this type of look with two pieces, or just grab this twofer sweater.

More Outfit Details

For this twofer, I recommend adding pants or jeans with a leg that tapers to the knee, like a bootcut or flares.

I don’t like this concept combined with wide legs as much, it is not as flattering, but it is doable. 

Anyway, I went with these flared jeans.  I love the pintuck seams down the front and the vintage feel.

Wear them with some low heeled ankle booties with a pointed or squared toe to elongate the legs.

Accessories

As for accessories, I topped the look with some oversized designer sunglasses.

But, I have and love these sunnies, which are quite similar for a fraction of the price.

For the bag, I went with a classic black bucket bag from Mulberry.

I love this bag as it is small and can be carried with a crossbody strap or the top handle.

But, if Mulberry is out of your budget, this bag is very similar.

Jewelry

As for jewelry, keep it gold, like these bold on trend earrings.

For bracelets, I went with my classic gold wrist stack.

I included this Tory Burch watch and bangle bracelet.

And I have the featured chain bracelet, it’s great and fits my slightly-larger-than-average wrists.

Try one of the Amazon bracelets for a selection of sizes at more reasonable prices.
