Two plus size winter joggers outfits because athleisure is here to stay and I’m here for it!
Plus Size Winter Joggers Outfits
Life is Short, Wear Stripes
I often hear “Should plus size people wear stripes?”
If you’re unsure about stripes, please read this post “Are horizontal stripes REALLY making you look fat?,” written by Melissa at Suger Coat It.
She explains, “No, horizontal stripes won’t make you look fat. Only being fat makes you look fat. And you know what, that’s okay.”
I think Melissa does a fantastic job of breaking down this outdated “rule” regarding plus sizes and stripes.
Outfit 1 Details
Both of these plus size athleisure outfits have the same “base” of a striped sweatshirt and black joggers.
And to make it look a bit more “sophisticated,” top with a wool coat as needed.
Pro tip: topping loungewear or athleisure with a long wool coat is an easy way to look more “pulled together” in the winter months. Bonus points for a chic bag.
You can go straight from the couch to running errands by throwing on some trendy sneakers and a coat and look damn good doing it!
Accessories
Speaking of trendy sneakers, Adidas is having a moment right now. So these aqua Adidas Originals SL 72 OG sneakers make a statement. You know what’s up.
I couldn’t help but coordinate with this orange beanie hat.
Then add an unexpected trending designer bag like the DeMellier “Midi New York” bag in black.
With the chic wool coat, it all works, I promise.
If the designer version isn’t in your budget, try this bag which looks quite similar but at a much lower price.
Top the look with these oversized square aviator sunnies from Diff.
When it comes to sunglasses, I love oversized, I love aviators, and I love square shades on my round face.
My mom gave these to me for Christmas. I LOVE them! You can see them on me here.
Jewelry
As for jewelry, I opted for some trendy huggie gold hoop earrings.
Check out these for a more affordable option.
And I stacked the wrist with my usual favorites, like this Tory Burch watch and bangle bracelet.
And I have the featured chain bracelet, it’s great and fits my slightly-larger-than-average wrists.
Try one of the Amazon bracelets for a selection of sizes at more reasonable prices.
Lastly, back to the on-trend gold, finish with a dome ring.
Or check out this more affordable version.
Perfume
As for the perfume, I opted for something really fresh, Jo Malone’s English Pear & Freesia Cologne.
My dearest friend gave me a small bottle of this and I love it for an “everyday” scent.
I see that Dossier makes a perfume called “Floral Pear,” which is inspired by Malone’s Pear & Freesia.
So far I have enjoyed every Dossier fragrance I’ve tried, so check it out!

Like I said, both of these outfits have the same “base,” but I wanted to give you some more options…
I swapped the bright red orange beanie for a basic black one.
And I traded the aqua Adidas sneakers for some neutral Adidas Samba sneakers.
