Mixing prints is never out of style, in my opinion.  One of the easiest ways to mix prints is to use, what I like to call, the “new neutrals,” which include animal prints (think leopard and cheetah), stripes, dots, and plaids.  To keep things economical, invest in these “neutrals” as your accessories, bags, and shoes.  Leopard shoes, scarves, and bags go with everything.  I repeat: everything.  My rule: one animal print at a time, though.  When in doubt, remove one print.  Think of Coco Chanel’s words: “before leaving the house, a lady should look in the mirror and remove one accessory.”  The sentiment is not to overdo it.  It is fine to treat these prints as neutrals, but I like to limit it to no more than 3 varieties at a time.  See my recent outfit for inspiration:
