While “luxury” is a relative term, to me, these are little luxuries that moms will enjoy but might not get for themselves.
I love giving gifts that I know people won’t “treat” themselves to.
So these gift ideas are a mix of items that I have gifted to others, gifted to myself, or are on my wish list.

2- Sandals or here {wide width} (less $ similar)– I’m so happy that Birks are still “back” in style!
If your mom has back issues, hip issues, foot issues… you see where I am going with this. With an anatomically correct footbed of cork, she’ll love a pair of Birkenstock sandals!
Most Birkenstock sandals are unisex with “narrow width” that fits like a ladies medium “B-C” width. The “regular width” fits like a women’s wide “D” width. If you mom needs the narrow width, go here.

9- Plus Size Zebra High Rise 7/ 8 Leggings (less $ similar)– Sizes 2 – 22. 4-way stretch. This pair of leggings is designed to wick moisture away. Each pair is crafted using material from recycled plastic bottles.
10- Complexion Palette or here (less $ similar) – Beautiful luxuriously finely-milled powders for the face. They help manipulate light to filter out imperfections, pores and wrinkles, and are designed to be applied individually or together.
The palette is filled with shades designed to finish, highlight, contour, refine or warm the skin.
Again, this is a luxury item, no doubt. But, it is an item that if you “treat yo’ self” with, you will have no regrets.
If you’re looking for an extremely natural look highlighter, try this powder in “Luminous Light,” which is my favorite Hourglass item. It has this incredible ability to give you that “lit from within” glow.
11- Blush Flower Arrangement – Everybody loves flowers!
12- Weighted Knit Blanket or here (less $ similar) – In case you haven’t heard, weighted blankets increase serotonin and melatonin, which boosts your mood and helps you sleep.
And they are thought to reduce cortisol, which is the “stress hormone.”
They come in different sizes and weights. It is recommended to choose one that is approximately 10% of your body weight.
This blanket is made with organic cotton and considered one of the best weighted blankets out there.
I bought one and I am obsessed with it. I call it the “cocoon.” I find it calming and relaxing.
13- Lip Gloss Stick in “Showcasino Nude” or here (set, less $ similar) – I finally tried these YSL’s Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Sticks.
And yes, they are awesome!
It looks like a lip gloss, but has more staying power without the “stickiness” that I hate in long-lasting glosses.
But most importantly, they are moisturizing. I mean like decadent moisture!
They are made with mango oil, vitamin E, pomegranate extract, and hyaluronic acid.
And they smell similar to the Rouge Volupté Shine, which is amazing!
Point is, I think I have a new favorite.

15- Jasmine Large Jar Candle (less $ similar) – I’ve talked about Voluspa candles on this blog a lot. But, I really think they’re a great quality line of candles that come in beautiful packaging.

17- Blow Dryer or here (less $ similar)– Another hair tool that has made me a believer!
This blow dryer’s price tag was enough to make me roll my eyes ever since it became a hot item. Seriously, how good could it be?
But, wow! First, it’s like a jet engine waiting to blow dry my hair in record time. And my hair hasn’t ever been so full of body!
And if I want to have a sleek style, using the flyaway attachment is freakin’ awesome! So yeah, it is all that! I also bought this case to keep my Dyson safe.

27- Luxury T-Shirt (less $ similar) – Sizes 00 – 40. I have these t-shirts. They are so soft and luxurious!
But, one thing to note is they have modal in them, which allows them to drape beautifully if you have the correct size.
But, if the tee is too small, it will cling in all the wrong ways. You can’t stretch it out like a 100% cotton t-shirt. So make sure you get the correct size.

32- Wallet (less $ similar) – Maybe I’m just a bougie b!tch, but who wouldn’t want one of these?
33- Silk Pillowcase (less $ similar) – I gifted one of these to my mom and she loves it! While this may seem like a ridiculous gift, a silk pillowcase is really great for mature women and those with thinning hair.
Because it is so smooth and “slippery” this pillowcase won’t snag delicate hair and skin, which can result in damage and breakage.
Also, it can prevent “bed head,” which can extend the life of a blowout, which becomes more important as we age because using heat can be so drying and damaging to delicate thinning hair. And because the pillowcase is made from natural silk, it breathes which helps your giftee sleep more comfortably and prevents overheating.
Personally, as a woman with thinning hair issues, I can say this is a great investment for anyone dealing with thin hair, dry hair, dry skin, or even menopausal hot flashes.
It’s a luxury item that she might not get for herself, but would love to have!

35- Lactic Acid Exfoliating Serum, here or here – Want youthful, glowy, clearer skin with tighter pores? Enter Good Genes.
Good Genes is a chemical exfoliator that uses lactic acid, a type of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs). Lactic acid is more gentle than the more common AHA, glycolic acid.
Plus, Good Genes is packed full of other ingredients that soothe and brighten.
My experience has been that it absolutely gets rid of layers dead skin, which prevents dry patches and poor makeup application. But, more importantly, it helps prevent clogged pores. I have also noticed some brightening of my acne scars too.
This stuff is a work horse because it manages all of this with only a short period of “problems.”
If you haven’t used a chemical exfoliator or AHA before, you should expect to have a period of time in which you skin gets worse before it gets better. It may even seem like it is causing breakouts or irritation and you should stop. Don’t! You may have to cut back on the frequency of use, but unless you’re having an allergic reaction, chances are your skin is “purging.” Meaning all of the gunk trapped under the surface of all of those dead skin cells is now working it’s way out. So hang on, it gets much better.
You should see a noticeable difference overnight, especially if you haven’t been using an AHA. Your skin will be smoother and more radiant within 24 hours.
Over time, you’ll notice clearer and brighter skin with smaller pores, radiance you never knew you could have, and smooth and soft skin. I swear my fine lines are less noticeable as well. Plus, I almost never have ingrown chin hairs now.
You should always wear sunscreen, but especially when using an AHA. Because all of the dead skin is sloughed off, your skin has less protection from the sun. And more vulnerable skin is exposed.
36- Dewy Face Moisturizer or here – If mom has dry skin, this is it!
37- Moisturizing Facial Oil or here (set) – An excellent moisturizing oil. I keep mine on the night stand and apply just before bed. I wake up to more plumped and radiant skin.
